Wonder Oil Products, Inc. was established in 1998 by Jim and Elisabeth Moores in Sultan, Washington Stae. They entered the emu industry in 1991 as emu ranchers growing birds for sale as livestock and for their future by-products. With a background in chemistry and extensive scientific knowledge, Jim anticipated that the fat from the bird (rendered into oil) would be its most valuable commodity and would ultimately drive the entire industry. The product formulas, created by Jim, incorporate both natural and synthetic materials that are generally non-irritating to the skin. They believe that using "all natural" materials is not necessarily the better choice as most need more preservatives to stabilize them, can clog pores or irritate the skin. Although we have always manufactured our own products, we recently added a few products that do not contain emu oil and are not of our manufacture to compliment our product line. We moved to Napa, CA in 2005 and then to a much larger facility in Hidden Valley Lake, CA in 2009.
