Helping the Infirm Become Firm And Fit

With a focus on skin maintenance and wound care, the Gunthersville, Alabama based product company Health Renu offers a line of products reportedly bringing phenomenal relief to infirm individuals by helping them recuperate from a number of debilitating disorders.

Health Renu CEO Darrell Good reports that the company's products are currently being used and researched in nursing homes, home health care, a general hospital as well as in laser treatment, general practitioner and skin care clinics. And recently a large home health care corporation that had tested the Health Renu line expressed interest in carrying the company products. The Health Renu products are also being launched in the foreign market.

Of significant interest is that all six of the company's products contain as an ingredient a commodity of growing interest by the medical field - emu oil. Company secretary Cheryl Good relates that the business initially marketed just pure emu oil but later added additional products after their customers reported receiving exceptional response from the oil.

Says Cheryl, "Some of our initial customers with skin cancer told us that after applying the pure emu oil on their afflicted area, their cancer seemed to disappear. We then began to realize just how amazing this oil really is and decided to conduct some further research. In addition to the pure oil, the business decided to offer products that contained a mixture of emu oil and essential plant oils as well as vitamins known for their beneficial characteristics in relation to skin and wound care. We felt that the emu oil would also enhance the properties of the other ingredients."

Health Renu products as mentioned above, are doing quite well and interest in the product line is expanding rapidly. Relates Darrell, "A lot of feedback from our customers is disbelief at how quickly the products work. We have found through testing and documentation by nursing homes themselves (see photos below), that our products may aid in the acceleration of wound healing. Emu oil itself is a nutritional supplement to the skin and keeps the skin conditioned, and the fact that a reported 60,000 nursing home patients expire annually from non-treatable pressure sores, is just one reason why we choose to include it in all our products."

The company's number one seller is Derm-All Gel™, used as an aid in wound healing. Other Health Renu products include; Skin Renu Plus, a skin care lotion containing six vitamins and employed as a preventative for pressure sores; Skin Renu which is 100 percent emu oil; Health Renu Facial Soap with vitamins; and Sports Creme, an analgesic creme for arthritis, all targeted for the medical field. Darrell relates that two upcoming products include a non-rinse soap with emu oil and a nasal spray formulated with emu oil and vitamins, for bed patients on oxygen. "The nasal spray is being developed by a chemist and engineer with NASA," he says.

The company CEO adds this comment, "We choose emu oil for the main ingredient in our products because the oil feeds the skin as a nutritional supplement and therefore helps it to rejuvenate. Our tests have shown that emu oil provides the skin with essential fatty acids which actually help the skin respond to healing since its being fed properly."

The local Channel 19 News WHNT recently carried a small segment on Health Renu being used on patients in a nearby nursing home. "Our phones didn't stop ringing for the next three to four weeks as calls poured in from people seeking relief from the same kind of ailments," says Darrell.
